MENDIOLA, SARTE AND ZAMORA TOPS 5TH NATIONAL SLALOM
Dr. Peewee Mendiola of Big Chill Racing Team had a grand day in the just concluded 5th leg National Slalom. Mendiola with his fine driving and perfect car preparation never gave a chance to 2nd place Noel Rivera of Fern C for the Overall and Production series best time of the day at Robinsons Market Sta Rosa. Mendiola clocked 41.70 while Rivera came close at 42.16 in the RACE Motorsports Club National Slalom Series. Nino Sarte of DKC racing team came in third and also won the Front Wheel Overall best time by clocking 42.22. Milo Rivera came in 4th and 5th was Jojo Camacho, 6th by DJ de Guzman and Jevoy Moreno of Auto Fastion Racing Team got 7th Overall. Walter Zamora of Walter lights and Sounds captured for the first the Novice best time of the day with a time of 47.02. The 6th leg will be on July 10 at SM SUCAT parking lot. RIVERA, SARTE AND YAMBAO TOPS 4TH NATIONAL SLALOM
Noel Rivera of Fern C bagged the Production and Overall best time of the day in the just concluded 4th leg of the RACE Motorsports Club National Slalom Series. Rivera dominated the event while Dr. Peewee Mendiola of Big Chill Racing Team tried his best to beat Rivera in the Runoffs. Mendiola clocked 61.44 placing him second. It was an exciting and wet race day held at Robinsons Nova Market. Nino Sarte of DKC racing team came in third and also won the Front Wheel Overall best time by clocking 63.92. Milo Rivera came in 4th and Jevoy Moreno of Auto Fastion Racing Team got 5th Overall.
Pompy Yambao of Big Chill Racing Team captured the Novice best time of the day with a time of 66.96. The 5th leg will be on June 5 at Robinsons Sta Rosa.

MENDIOLA, JOSON AND VARRON TOP 3RD LEG NATIONAL SLALOM
Dr. Peewee Mendiola of Big Chill Racing Team regains win after a two leg loss in the 2011 RACE Motorsports Club National Slalom Series. Mendiola, in a good start of the event made a lead after clocking 44.28. He also got the Production series best time in the just concluded 3rd leg National Slalom series back at the NFA Compound, Cabanatuan City followed by Noel Rivera of Fern C Racing team. Meanwhile, Jerwin Joson of Cabanatuan Auto Club bagged the Front wheel best Best Time by clocking 45.40 and also came in 4th fastest with a time of 45.30 in the Runoff.. Nino Sarte of DKC Racing Team captured the 2nd fastest time of the day when he made a perfect run at the Runoff. Franz Varron of the same team and both from Cabanatuan City topped the Novive best time of the day by clocking 47.64. 3rd was Nino Sarte. 5th placer was Mikko Briones with a time of 45.34. RMSC NATIONAL SLALOM BACK AT CABANATUAN CITY
After a long wait, the National Slalom Series is finally going back and hold 2 legs as part of the National series for year 2011. The 3rd leg of the National Slalom series will be held this Sunday, April 17 at the NFA Compound, Cabanatuan City. Inviting Newbies, Car Clubs, Race Drivers, Ladies and slalom enthusiasts to join and compete on Sunday’s race. Entries coming from the north would also be seen in action headed by the drivers from Baguio, La Union and Pangasinan. There will be lots of adrenalin pumping slalom racing actions. Special discounts for first timers, and car clubs. Come and experience the breath taking slalom action…..… and be a real race driver.!!!! Plus, the event can be a car club meet or a monthly eyeball time for the different car clubs. Race Motorsports Club will hold a 12 leg for the series for the year 2011 and 3 Slalom Invitationals. Registration will start at 8am and will continue for the whole day. Practice runs til 11am before the start of the Official runs at 11:30am. For this Sunday. All participating drivers will receive a free Shell T-shirt and cap. AAP will be present to issue Clubman License to the participants. AAP will only charge Php 1,000 for the Clubman license. No need for Doctor’s fee and membership fee. The NATIONAL SLALOM EVENTS is affiliated with the Automobile Association of the Philippines (AAP) and FIA and is the longest running motorsport discipline in the country. MENDOZA, CALAMANAN TOPS 2011 RACE MOTORSPORST CLUB SLALOM INVITATIONAL
Michael Mendoza of Team Tool box captured the Overall, Production and Front wheel best Best Time by clocking 39.16 in the just concluded RMSC SLALOM INVITATIONAL CHALLENGE . The event is the 1st out of 3 legs for the Slalom Invitational for year 2011. The event was held last Saturday, April 9 at the Francisco Ortega Hiway San Fernando La Union. Don Calamanan of the same team and both from Cabanatuan City topped the Novive best time of the day by clocking 40.00 and also came as 2nd fastest time for the day. 3rd was Jet Ramos of Team JDA BENIL Baguio with the time of 41.56 . Imay Datu of BAF got in 4th with a time of 41.64 and 5th Ramzy Kairuz by clocking 41.68 .
